Jaime Eguiguren Art & Antiques and Colnaghi gallery are delighted to announce Discovering Viceregal Latin American Treasures, a survey exhibition that brings together more than a hundred works of art from the Viceregal period. The presentation takes place virtually as the first ever online exhibition of art from the viceregal period, and physically across Colnaghi's galleries in London and New York. Working in collaboration on this exciting project, these two TEFAF galleries are hopeful that the current restrictions imposed by Covid-19 will be lifted in time to open each physical exhibition to the public, however the online showcase will give guests an opportunity to examine the works on view in detail wherever they are in the world. The exhibition will be supported by the publication of an exquisite printed exhibition catalogue, which will be the most in-depth publication on Viceregal art ever printed. The Old Master works in the exhibition date from the 16th to 18th century, and is comprised of paintings, sculptures, silves, barniz de pasto, ceramics and furniture.
