This rare thirteenth-century stained-glass panel comes from the Île-de-France, the birthplace of Gothic art, and belongs to the great tradition of Chartres and the Sainte-Chapelle. Fragments of this caliber and period are exceptionally scarce on the market. Preserved in remarkable condition, it is an authentic witness to the moment when stained glass became the soul of Gothic architecture, transforming light into a manifestation of the divine. Both a masterpiece and a historical relic, it embodies one of the most influential artistic revolutions in Western art.
