Provenance

 Private collection, Spain

It's very difficult to find the Christian objects made in Japan for the Iberian world. Made with Urushi Japanese Lacquer and its decorations that are worth highlighting richly made and in abundance with the Makie technique; Silver dust and scattered gold. The mother of pearl or mother of pearl inlay and small cylindrical metal boxes with glass and colored plates embellishing the framing scene.

The work inside painted in oil on copper, with the iconography of the Coronation of the Virgin with saints, dates from the end of the 16th century of the Roman school, still Mannerist style.
