A depiction of the Our Lady as Tota Pulchra, an image rooted in a verse from the Song of Songs: "Tota pulchra es, amica mea, et macula originalis non est in te" (4:7), translated as "You are all beautiful, my beloved, and there is no stain in you." This phrase has been interpreted within Christian tradition as a reference to Mary’s immaculate and unblemished virginity.
